Poached eggs

This is my second post where I will show how to make poached eggs. There are different methods that can be used to make them, however i will show the one i personally use and I find easier.

Ideally this egg should have a gooey but still runny yolk and a firm white. By following each step you will be able to achieve this pretty easily and master the technique.

Ingredients: 
  •  One egg
  •  A slice of bread 
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • Cling film
  • A pinch of parmesan 




Directions 
  • 1. Boil the water in a saucepan
  • 2. Take the cling film, cut a piece of it and put it in a small bowl
  • 3. Open the egg and pour it over the cling film
  • 4. Wrap the egg  with the plastic wrap forming a small bag and tie a knot so that the egg cannot come out
  • 5. When boiling, put the plastic bag with the egg inside in the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes
  • 6. After 5 minutes, remove the bag from the water, immerse it in a glass of cold water and then place it on a plate
  • 7. Cut the foil with scissors so that only the egg remains (now externally solid)
  • 8. Season with salt, pepper, a sprinkling of parmesan and make a small cut in the middle to ensure that the yolk is liquid
  • 9. Finish by adding a drop of oil
And you will obtain a perfect poached egg!🥚
